Customer Success gets handed the renewal number without any of the rigor Sales uses to qualify a deal. So the forecast gets built on feelings, like "the champion loves us," and then a renewal slips because procurement needed 60 days nobody planned for. If you can't answer a MEDDPICC question confidently, you don't have certainty. You have hope.

This scorecard adapts MEDDPICC for renewals. You write the evidence for each of the eight components, score it 0, 1 or 2, and the workbook gives you a weighted total, a green, yellow or red band and a recommended play for every weak area. Score one account in depth or your whole renewal portfolio, then use the Summary tab to see ARR by band and the weakest components across your team.
